CITIZENSHIP PREPARATION CLASS

Citizenship Preparation Class is open to permanent residents who want to apply for Canadian citizenship.

WHAT WE OFFER

Participants in the program will benefit from:

  • Study materials and practice tests.
  • Language instruction to understand concepts and information needed to pass the citizenship test.
  • The chance to practice in a caring, non-judgemental environment.

HOW DOES THE PROGRAM WORK

Classes run in the fall, winter, spring and summer at EMCN Northeast. Each 11 week class follows the "Discover Canada" study guide.

WHO CAN ACCESS THESE SERVICES?

Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • Permanent resident or convention refugee
  • Canadian Language Benchmark of 4 or higher.
