5-month part time training program to help you pursue a career in business related jobs such as:
- Management
- Marketing and Communications
- Public Administration
- Information Systems
This program is free and includes a paid work experience with an employer.

- Gain experience in a Canadian workplace setting
How the program works
This program is delivered twice yearly to 15 eligible applicants each time.
- 12 weeks part-time classes with the Edmonton Mennonite Centre for Newcomers
- 8 weeks full-time work experience
- 90 days (3 months) supported job search

You can apply to this program if you are
Applicants must fulfill the following eligibility requirements:
- A Graduate of a diploma or degree program from an international institution with experience in a business-related occupation and/or industry sectors
- Unemployed or marginally employed
- A resident of Alberta; Permanent Resident, new Canadian Citizen, Refugee with positive Notice of Decision Letter
- Canadian Language Benchmark 5 or higher in all skill areas: reading, writing, speaking and listening
- Highly motivated and committed to completing the program
